Our Vision

We envision an Afghanistan where every Afghan regardless of their gender, age, race,

ethnicity, or religion live in dignity and comfort, free from hunger, poverty, violence,

ignorance and illiteracy.

Our Mission

We work with aid agencies to eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, provide and promote access

to clean water, sanitation, hygiene, health-care, education, and to develop people’s skills to

become active citizens and responsibly participate in planning, decision making and

implementation of actions to address key challenges of the society.

Goal

Coordinate the efforts and work closely with aid agencies to provide exceptional support to

individuals and communities across Afghanistan through provisioning and implementation

of aid programs and activities.

Al-Hakim Welfare Organization

Al-Hakeem Welfare Organization (AHWO) is an Afghan nonprofit, nonpolitical and nongovernmental organization steadfast to the relief, welfare and prosperity, of Afghan communities even in remotest parts of the country. AHWO seeks thriving communities free of violence and more tolerant with access to basic human needs and provision of justice; A country where the problem of poverty has been addressed and human dignity is ensured.

The Prime mandate of AHWO is to improve as much as possible the living conditions of the people we reach through our programs. We strive to have a community that is empowered, participates in development processes, access basic human needs, and lives in conditions that human dignity deserves. AHWO is specialized in providing effective and life-changing learning opportunities and poverty reduction initiatives through sustainable developmental programs.

Our technical/programs [Education, Health, Agriculture, Relief and Aid distribution, Social Cohesion, and Women Empowerment] are supervised by highly qualified and experienced Managers recruited based on their expertise in the mentioned fields. They are guided by the AHWO executive team which has more than 40 years of collective experience in managing programs with over a decade experience in development projects as well as Afghanistan's Banking and financial sector. AHWO core team members are assets to the NGO, they are known for their exemplary proposal writing and project management skills.
